With the release of the new 10.1.0 update, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate introduced the third playable character in Fighter Pass Vol.2, Sephiroth. The Final Fantasy VII antagonist was presented with a phenomenal cinematic video during TGA 2020, and is now officially part of the Nintendo exclusive roster.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s first Fighter Pass introduced five extra characters that joined the massive starting roster: Joker from Persona 5 , Dragon Quest hero , Banjo and Kazooie from the eponymous title, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury and Byleth from Fire Emblem Heroes . The second, more recent Fighter Pass introduced only the first three at the moment: ARMS Min Min , Steve and Alex from Minecraft and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.
Some players had already obtained it, but now it is available for everyone: we are talking about Sephiroth , the new character of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate . The warrior of Final Fantasy 7 has in fact been added, along with various other innovations, through the update 10.1 .
Sephiroth , thanks to update 10.1, is not the only element coming from Final Fantasy coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In fact, various outfits inspired by other beloved characters have been added , such as Tifa and Aerith. There is no shortage of new spirits, summons and modifications.
