Asus CES 2021 announcements showcased new gaming laptops in the ROG lineup, with aggressive designs and all-powerful specs. We have listed all the three ROG models below.

ASUS ROG Flow X13

Asus ROG Flow X13 is 13″ 2 in 1 convertible gaming laptop that works with an extra-compact external GPU. According to Asus, these two products can work together to deliver a powerful super-mobile gaming setup, though this looks like you’re average gaming ultrabook. Despite its small frame, the Flow X13 can pack up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS processor and impressively light at just 1.3kg, but also features Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.

You can choose between a 120Hz FHD display and a 4K touch screen. Both display types are Pantone Validated for colour accuracy and support adaptive sync. The 13-inch laptop also features a 2-in-1 design that folds back into a tablet to support content creation as well as gaming.

Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE

The also announced Zephyrus Duo 15 SE today at CES 2021. The laptop is a special edition of ASUS’s unique dual-screen gaming laptop, the Zephyrus Duo 15. The laptop’s main display is a 15.6-inch panel, but its biggest draw is its enormous ROG ScreenPad Plus, a 14.1-inch secondary display that sits above the keyboard.

For the main display, users can choose between an up to a 4K panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz or a FHD panel with a 300Hz refresh rate. Both options are 15.6-inches and Pantone validated.

The secondary display works with touch as well as the ASUS Pen active stylus. There are two resolution options for the ROG ScreenPad Plus, a 4K (3840 x 1100) option or an FHD (1920 x 1080) option. Both options have a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Asus ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17

The company unveiled two new Asus ROG Strix laptops known as the SCAR 15 and SCAR 17, loaded under the hood with AMD Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 processors, up to 64GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM, a beastly NVIDIA RTX 3070 or 3080, and up to a 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Other updates to the design include an improved RGB light bar, interchangeable thermal cover caps and colourful rubber pads to keep everything steady while you game. The trackpad has seen a 85% increase in size, while new optical mechanical keyboard allows for better reactivity and comfort, without the delay associated with a traditional mechanical keyboard.
