The 32-year-old artist supposedly enlisted assistance to handle the provisions of her contract, which was finally filed earlier this month, two years after she split from the CEO of the foundation.
It comes after news that two years after revealing that they had separated after three years of marriage, Adele and Simon had reached an understanding on breaking up their fortune.
Sources told The Sun that after the separation of Adele and Simon initially being polite, they had to use mediators to compromise on some provisions for their settlement.
It’s thought a majority of the disputes stemmed from dividing up the Hello hitmaker’s vast fortune, after the couple agreed on joint custody of their son Angelo, eight.
A source said: ‘They made it very clear they didn’t want to set lawyers on each other but the process hasn’t been exactly straightforward all the same. The priority was making sure they did right by their son, Angelo.
The first thing they settled to was splitting custody, and it has been about equally breaking up the majority of their marital finances since then.
‘Fortunately they have managed to get there without an explosive public court case, slanging matches or scandalous claims about each other, and that gives them the best possible chance of staying on good terms in the future.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Adele for comment.
On Thursday, Us Weekly announced that on Friday, January 15, Adele and Simon, the CEO of the Drop4Drop charity, filed the terms of their divorce settlement with the judge.
While the union will not be formally dissolved until the judge signs off on the papers, Adele and Simon have concluded their work to finalize the divorce.
