Numerous previous reports said the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro would have a 4,700 mAh battery, but the device will actually be 5,000 mAh, according to an inside source that has access to an early engineering sample.
A popular Chinese Weibo tipster revealed the information that the battery is divided into two, implying that there is some ultra-fast charging at hand – not that it was ever in question. He doesn’t name his source, however, and only said that the new engineering sample came with a battery of 5,000 mAh. This is even a step up from the Mi 10 Ultra of last year.
Previous reports say that Xiaomi’s blazing-fast 120W wired charging introduced with the Mi 10 Ultra would be enabled by the smartphone. We hope to hear soon enough, as no official date has been set for the Mi 11 Pro announcement yet.
