According to the Daily Mail, Bayern München youngster Jamal Musiala has agreed he wants to play for Germany instead of England. The 17-year-old is currently an international under-21 in England, but is officially scheduled to accept an invitation to join the senior side of Germany in March after talks with ‘Die Mannschaft’ coach Joachim Löw.
Born in Stuttgart to a Nigerian father and a German mother, at the age of seven, Musiala relocated to England. He is also qualified to represent Germany, Nigeria and England. Musiala’s contract with Bayern expires in 2022, but when he turns 18 this Friday, he is expected to sign a new deal. For Bayern, he has made a total of 25 appearances, scoring three goals.
