EnPro Industries Inc. (NPO) posted a fourth-quarter loss of $8.1 million on Tuesday, after reporting a profit a year earlier in the same period.
It had a loss of 39 cents per share, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said. Earnings came to $1.24 per share, adjusted for one-time gains and expenses.
In the era, the industrial goods manufacturer reported revenue of $276 million.
The company posted $184.4 million in profit for the year, or $8.98 per share. It posted revenue of $1.07 billion.
EnPro predicts full-year income of between $4.32 and $4.66 per share, with sales ranging from $1.04 billion to $1.08 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, EnPro shares have risen almost 5 percent. In the last 12 months, the stock has risen 31 percent.
