As they returned to second place in the table, goals from Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes earned Manchester United a 3-1 win against Newcastle United.
When he nutmegged Emil Krafth, Marcus Rashford put them ahead on 30 minutes, beat him again inside the penalty area and drilled the ball beyond goalkeeper Karl Darlow at his nearest post.
But six minutes later, when he fired into the roof of the net after Harry Maguire had failed to clear Joe Willock’s center, Allain Saint-Maximin equalised.
On 57 minutes, after Fernandes had touched Nemanja Matic’s ball across the box, James restored the hosts’ lead with a low shot.
And with 15 minutes left, Fernandes confirmed the victory from the penalty spot, following Willock’s foul on Rashford.
Man Utd is on 49 points, ahead of third-placed Leicester City on goal gap and 10 behind Manchester City leaders.
On 25 points, Newcastle will remain 17th, three above Fulham.
