Sporting director Max Eberl of Borussia Mönchengladbach has denied claims that the loan offer for Valentino Lazaro includes a purchase option. “With Valentino, it’s a pure loan deal,” Eberl told Bild about the 24-year-old, who is on Inter loan until the end of the season.
“We are happy that he’s here, even if his two injuries have set him back, of course. We’ll look at what’s possible when considering our squad for the coming season.” So far, Lazaro has played 14 matches in a Gladbach shirt with a goal and an assist to his credit.
