NCT 127 climbed to the top of Japan’s Oricon list with its “Loveholic” EP on Tuesday.
It’s the second Japanese EP of the boy band, and this is the first time Oricon’s weekly album chart has been overtaken, according to its company SM Entertainment.
The EP was released last week and landed as No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart. It also complemented a series of maps, including Billboard Japan’s top weekly sales list.
The album consists of five new songs in Japanese, including the title track “gimme gimme,” which are themed in lust, as well as “Kick It,” the focus track of his second studio album in Korean.
