According to Florian Neuhaus, Gladbach’s performances aren’t influenced by the fact that Marco Rose will leave his place as head coach this summer. Florian Neuhaus maintains that Borussia Mönchengladbach will not let head coach Marco Rose’s imminent departure impact their results.
After months of rumors about the future of Rose, it was eventually revealed a week ago that, at the end of the season, the 44-year-old was actually leaving Gladbach to become the next head coach at Borussia Dortmund. Some have indicated that the confusion surrounding Rose could affect the team and their results, with Gladbach having failed to register a win in their last three games, but Neuhaus firmly denies that is the case.
In an interview with Funke Mediengruppe, the central midfielder said, “It won’t have a negative impact on our performances. Our team is professional enough to make sure that we don’t allow that to happen,” “If we win games, everything is fine. If, on the other hand, we lose games, this topic will be brought up again and again. We have the ambition to counteract all of that with succesful games.” Gladbach have a difficult job ahead of them when they take on Manchester City on Wednesday in the Champions League last 16.
