If you’ve ever wondered why your kid went silent unexpectedly, maybe a little too quiet, it’s probably better to check them in.

When their neighbor confronted them with reports, a couple were shocked: their seven-year-old child was seen climbing in a viral video from the window of their 11th floor apartment. The video shows the child climbing outside the bathroom window on the ledge and pouring water over the edge.
While the incident took place on Feb 5, the video only began to circulate later, until it was shared in the residential group discussion that neighbors used to notify the parents of the boy.Speaking to the Shin Min Daily News, the father, who refused to be identified, admitted that the window had not been closed that day, but had been locked since then.
“On the day of the incident, I fetched my children home from school before heading out to work. Everything was as usual,” he said.

As his eldest son and daughter were discussing school work in their study, the youngest played by himself. His abrupt behavior caught his parents by surprise, as the youngest had never showed any inclination to climb.
“I asked my son if he did that because he was curious. Maybe he watched too much TV and thought he could fly too,” the father told the Chinese daily news. “I will restrict the videos he watches online now”
He also explained the dangers of such actions and possible consequences to his son, using a torn strip of paper as an analogy for how certain damages can’t be undone.
