After matching his season-high haul in Fantasy, Leicester Winger is the most-bought player for DGW26
A goal and an assist against Aston Villa made Harvey Barnes (£6.8m) the top goal for managers ahead of Fantasy Premier League’s Double Gameweek 26.
To match his season-high haul of 13 points, the Leicester City winger also collected the maximum three bonus points.
That gained him 190,000+ new owners, more than any Gameweek player.
For the first time this term, Barnes has now produced back-to-back double-figure returns ahead of meetings in Gameweek 26 with Arsenal and Burnley.
His team-mate James Maddison (£7.3m) also has a strong shape and should be taken into account if he recovers from the Sunday knock that forced him off.
In his last nine outings, Maddison’s opener at Villa Park took his tally to five goals and three assists.
Following Gameweek 26, the appeal of Leicester’s key players is further boosted by their schedule.
In Gameweeks 27 and 28, respectively, The Foxes face Brighton & Hove Albion and Sheffield United.
A strong differential in Sterling
In Manchester City’s 1-0 win at Arsenal, Raheem Sterling (£ 11.6m) also continued his return run by scoring the decisive goal.
Over his last 14 starts, the winger has produced seven goals and six assists, blanking on just three of those occasions.
Owned by just 12.7 percent, Sterling provides the back-to-back Double Gameweeks 26 and 27 of Man City with a strong differential option.
Investment in the defense of Pep Guardiola can also prove a successful tactic after they recorded at Emirates Stadium their 15th clean sheet of the campaign.
In Fantasy, Joao Cancelo and Ruben Dias (both £ 6.1m) are joint-second among defenders on 107 points.
In the next two Gameweeks, they’ve got four home matches, entertaining West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester United and Southampton.
Man Utd Midfield Star Man Utd
Elsewhere in midfield, in Manchester United’s 3-1 home win over Newcastle United, Bruno Fernandes (£ 11.6m) and Marcus Rashford (£ 9.6m) both produced 12 points.
The 10th double-digit return of the season from Fernandes helped extend his lead to 26 points as the top scoring player in Fantasy.
Now owned by more than 60.2% of managers, when he visits Chelsea and Crystal Palace, he will be strongly supported by the captaincy at Double Gameweek 26.
Lingard preserves fine shape
Finally, in their 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, Jesse Lingard (£5.9m) continued his impressive series of West Ham displays, scoring and earning 10 points.
In his four outings since arriving on loan from Man Utd, he has racked up 34 points, producing three goals, an assist and six bonus points.
