Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF) posted $82.4 million in net income for the fiscal fourth quarter on Tuesday.
The New Albany, Ohio-based corporation posted a net income of $1.27 per share. Adjusted for non-recurring expenses, earnings per share were $1.50.
The findings were higher than Wall Street’s expectations. Earnings of $1.20 per share were the consensus estimate of eight analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research.
The teen apparel retailer announced $1.12 billion in sales for the quarter, which was in line with Wall Street expectations.
The company lost $114 million, or $1.82 per share, for the year, swinging to a loss for the time. $3.13 billion in sales was registered.
Abercrombie & Fitch stock has risen 36% since the start of the year. In the last year, the stock has more than doubled in value.
