A man died subsequent to being caught under a house transport in a modest community at the highest point of the South Island.
A police representative said they were called to a location in Brightwater, Tasman locale, at 5.45pm.
A 53-year-elderly person had gotten caught under a house transport while dealing with it, and had since passed on from his wounds.
Investigations into the conditions are in progress, the representative said.
