People in many districts, including Panchagarh and Naogaon in northern Bangladesh, were trembled by an earthquake in Bhutan.
The Department of meteorology says that Monday, at 9:20PM, was the 5.1 magnitude epicenter of an earthquake 403 km north-northwest of Dhaka.Zahirul Haque, departmental official at the earthquake observation center, said tremors in Panchagarh and other districts had been felt.
Nazrul Islam Jewel, Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station’s OC has confirmed that no damage records have been reported due to tremors lasting between three and four seconds.
