On Monday, Samsung and Flipkart will release two F-series phones at a low price. As a preview of what’s to come, their highlight features have already been shared on the retailer’s website. By the way, the F-series follows the specs of the corresponding M-series phone almost word for word, so it’s not a big mystery.
The Samsung Galaxy F12 will have a 48 MP camera with Super-PD autofocus and the ISOCELL GM2 sensor – a 1/2.25” sensor with 0.8 m pixels and Tetracell tech (Samsung’s take on Quad Bayer). This sensor is also used in mid-range phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G.
Both the F12 and the Galaxy F02s, which will be released on April 5, have 6.5-inch 720p+ displays (LCD). The F12 monitor, on the other hand, has a higher refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The Galaxy F02s will be based on battery life, with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Flipkart also reveals the Snapdragon 450 processor that will power this handset (a 14 nm chip from 2017).
One of three cameras on the back of the F02s will be a 13 MP main sensor. These specifics correspond to the Galaxy M02s, allowing you to get a sneak peek of what’s to come. The Galaxy M12 is no exception (which uses the newer 8 nm Exynos 850 chipset and an even bigger 6,000 mAh battery).
According to leaked pricing, the F02s would cost INR 9,000 ($122/€105) for the 3/32 GB model and INR 10,000 for the 4/64 GB model. gsmarena
