Treyarch has launched a new game settings update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which includes the addition of the ZRG sniper, the start of a massive Double XP weekend, the closing of an exploit on the new Miami Strike map, and more.
Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War starts with a new update for multiplayer, Zombies, and even the campaign from Treyarch.
The new ZRG 20mm sniper rifle is the most significant addition in this update, and it can be unlocked for both MP and Warzone by completing a special in-game challenge that requires longshots.
There’s good news for those trying to level up faster in S2! Treyarch is launching a four-day Double XP weekend, which will begin on April 8 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET and end on April 12 at the same time.
The rest of the patch contains several Zombies fixes, as well as the removal of an out-of-bounds exploit on the new Miami Strike map, which allowed players to reach a location that was not within the map’s boundaries.
