As Barcelona prepares for the tight La Liga title race, manager Ronald Koeman has given his players a simple message.
Tomorrow night, La Blaugrana travel to Valencia to play catch-up with rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
Despite his team losing a crucial advantage in the title race with a 2-1 defeat to Granada in midweek, the Dutch manager remains optimistic about his team’s chances if they win all of their games this month.
“It was a disappointment because it was a missed opportunity, but there is no time to be sad,” he told a pre match press conference with Marca.
“We are still in the fight to win La Liga.
“There are four teams fighting for La Liga and there is three points between them.
“But, if we win all five games, we will be champions.”
Barcelona’s trip to Valencia will be a true test for Koeman and his squad, as they look to win their first league game away from the Estadio Mestalla since 2016.
The home game against Atletico Madrid next weekend, however, is likely to be the title decider for both teams at the Camp Nou.
After that, Koeman’s title contenders have two away games against Levante and struggling Eibar, followed by a home match against Celta Vigo.
