Here are some suggestions for purchases.
The Golden Week sale on Steam is now live, with discounts on thousands of Japanese games. A quick glance reveals a plethora of great games in the mix, including Death Stranding for 60% off and Ace Combat 7 for 75% off.
Each year on April 29th, Japan celebrates Golden Week, which brings together a number of national holidays. The Steam sale will last a week, starting today at 10 a.m. PT/6 p.m. BST and ending on May 6th at 10 a.m. PT/6 p.m. BST.
The Steam landing page makes it simple to find big games. Death Stranding is one of our favorite games of 2020, and it’ll set you back £22/$24. Ace Combat 7 was an absurd delight for Brendy, and it’s £12.50/$15. Tales Of Vesperia and Tales Of Berseria are both on sale for 80% and 85% off, respectively, ahead of the September release of Tales Of Arise. In case Replicant’s recent re-release piqued your interest in its better successor, Nier Automata is 50% off at £15/$20.
Tekken 7, Street Fighter 5, Soul Calibur 6, and Dragon Ball FighterZ are all under £10 if you’re a fighting game fan. I’ve only recently begun watching One Punch Man, so I’m considering whether A Hero Nobody Knows is worth £10/$12.50.

You can also browse the sale using the new categories in the Steam store, such as theme and visual style. Finding a game in which cat girls run a patisserie has never been easier.
I was hoping to find something unusual to recommend, but Death Stranding is my choice. It’s a lovely, strange, melancholy hiking sim that’s a bargain at £22.
