Congratulations to Catelynn Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra on the birth of their fourth child! Tyler shared the good news on his Instagram story, saying his newborn girl is “wonderful.”
Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell have a new baby daughter! On Saturday, Aug. 28, the Teen Mom OG stars announced the wonderful news via Instagram. “She’s here, and she’s perfect!” exclaims the narrator. Tyler added a rose, love eye, and crying emoji to his Instagram story. In the brief video clip, the infant was wrapped in a white blanket, with only a glimpse of her face visible. Congratulations to the couple on their newest addition!
Tyler’s Instagram story was followed by a post from the new mom. “Our baby has arrived!” she said, pointing to a link in her bio with a heart emoji. Catelynn had announced to her 3.8 million Instagram followers that she was pregnant just hours prior. On Aug. 27, she posted with a photo from her hospital room, “Baby R is on her way… send happy vibes.”
The couple, who already have daughters Novalee, 6, and Vaeda, 2, announced in early 2021 that they were expecting another baby girl. “We’ve discovered that we’ll be having a… drumroll please… another girl!” Lowell, 28, revealed the news to Celebuzz, who also released a video of the reveal. “While we wanted a boy because this is our last child, the fact that she is healthy is truly all that matters. This is our last and final visit, but we know we’ll have a grandson one day and will adore him!”
In a sweet picture depicting their mini-me children Novalee and Vaeda, Catelynn and Tyler, 29, announced they were pregnant again. “The storm was worth it for this rainbow. Catelynn captioned a photo of her daughter wearing a “Big Sister 2021” shirt, “Baby Baltierra coming soon.” She also included a snapshot of an ultrasound and a Clear Blue pregnancy test in her message.
As followers of the reality star know, she had a string of losses before giving birth to her fourth child. “So I woke up from my nap today and I was bleeding,” Catelynn explained on the April 13 episode of Teen Mom OG. As a result, we lost this baby. This is my second miscarriage, as you may know. It’s a difficult time. Anyone who has experienced it can attest to how tough and sad it is. And it’s a bummer since we were so looking forward to it.”
“The reason I became triggered when I had the first miscarriage was because it was like losing a kid all over again,” she explained. And the anguish of being 16 years old and handing your child over to someone else was re-enacted, bringing up a slew of emotions. It’s incredible what your mind is capable of — how it holds on to these things and manifests them in many ways… It’s quite difficult, and it’s a painful experience.”
