Huawei has already released the P50 series, and now it’s time for the Mate 50, the company’s actual flagship. We don’t have any official or unofficial information on the next products, but a patent could tell what the Chinese company plans to release.
According to Lets Go Digital, the manufacturer will release an Arc display with ultra-curved sides and several touch functions, including volume control.
Huawei has been pondering this concept for a long time. The patent was submitted in March of this year, and we saw a modest version with the Huawei Mate 30 series, which lacked volume rockers. Instead, virtual sound controls were activated by a double-tap on the side, anyplace on the side.
Similar to the tiny cover display on the first-generation Galaxy Z Flip phones, the extra screen will be utilized for shoulder triggers, various icons, and even reading one-line messages, according to these representations.
The concept images also show the back camera layout, but we’re not delving too further into them on that front because they’re merely for illustrative purposes – we haven’t seen a single Mate 50 shot to back up this design.
