Jordan Love, the Packers Quarterback Will Start the Preseason Finale Against the Bills

Jordan Love is ready to return to the Packers’ lineup after being sidelined for a week due to injury.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and others familiar with the matter, the second-year quarterback will start Saturday’s preseason finale against the Bills.

Given that this is be his final game action before passing the keys over to Aaron Rodgers, the 22-year-old Love should get plenty of reps against the Bills’ starters.

Due to a minor shoulder soreness, Love was held out of last week’s game against the Jets. On Monday, he returned to practice and appeared to be in good shape for the game against Buffalo. Love might play until the third quarter, according coach Matt LaFleur, who informed reporters earlier in the week.

If LaFleur sticks to his plan, Love will have plenty of opportunities to show off his skills to the Green Bay faithful while also seeing if he can hold his own against Josh Allen (albeit in limited action) in a matchup that could hint at what the future may hold with him at the helm for marquee QB battles.
