According to ESPN, forward Taj Gibson will sign a two-year agreement with the New York Knicks after the franchise modified his contract.
According to the article, the deal is valued $10.1 million. The original contract was only for a year.
In 45 games (three starts) for the Knicks in 2020-21, Gibson averaged 5.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 20.8 minutes per game.
Gibson has played with the Chicago Bulls (2009-17), Oklahoma City Thunder (2017), Minnesota Timberwolves (2017-10) and New York Knicks, averaging 9.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. In the 2009 draft, the Bulls selected him with the 26th overall pick.
