The Fight for Uncontested Glory of Canelo

The uncontested super-middleweight championship is on stake with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez at Caleb Plant on 6November in Las Vegas, Germany.

The fight had come to an end in September, but Canelo has already concluded his arrangement with Plant as his next opponent as World Light-High Height Champion Dmitry Bivol.

Canelo is the world’s pound by pound #1 fighter and Plant gives him an astonishing chance to unify a division by beating three unfeatured champions in a year.

The British Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders and Avni Yildirim have beaten them since December, completing their perfect records and the world title.

Canelo now has the WBA, WBC, and WBO championships, while Plant holds the IBF title.

Plant is undefeated in 21 fights and most recently defeated Caleb Truax.

In his 60th bout, Canelo looks to solidify his grip on the super-middleweight class.

The Mexican is a four-weight world champion who has fought Gennadiy Golovkin in memorable battles, defeated Sergey Kovalev, and only lost to Floyd Mayweather.
