In mid-June, the Honor 50 series was announced, and ten days later, it went on sale. The Honor 50 and 50 Pro came in four colors when they first launched, but now there’s a fifth: the limited-edition “Honor Code” colorway.
On the back, the letters “HONOR” are mangled at random. The colors of the backdrop and letters change based on the angle at which light is reflected off of them. Of course, a matching wallpaper is already installed.
The Honor 50 Pro starts at CNY 3,700, while the normal Honor 50 starts at CNY 2,700 (here’s a link to the official store in China) (link). For the time being, you can only book a space in line; the official launch is scheduled for September 3 at 10:08 a.m. Chinese time.
Note that only 1,500 units will be produced for each of the “Honor Code” models. They come with a matching protective case, the pre-orders for the Pro version also include a free pair of headphones.
