This offseason, the Baltimore Ravens have a lot of depth at numerous positions on their roster. While having a multitude of playmakers is excellent, it will make for some difficult decisions in the coming weeks when rosters are whittled down to 53 players.
The first roster deadline is on Tuesday, when teams must reduce their roster to 85 players by 4 p.m. EST on August 17th. Baltimore took a step in that direction by waiving three players and placing two more on injured reserve.

Adeoye and Wolf both spent the 2020 season on the Ravens’ practice squad, while Harris was brought in during the midway point of last season, playing in four games for the team. Marshall will spend his third straight season on injured reserve as he’s only played in three games during his three year NFL career. Dorsey got hurt in practice last week, and now won’t see the field during the 2021 season.
Baltimore also signed quarterback Kenji Bahar in the wake of Trace McSorley’s back injury, which will keep him out multiple weeks.

The Ravens’ roster now sits at 86 players after three players were waived, two were placed on injured reserve, and one was signed, so they’ll have to make one more move before Tuesday’s deadline.
