Peyton Barber, who has had an exciting week, will now make his way to Las Vegas.
Barber will join the Las Vegas Raiders’ active roster after being released from the Washington Football Team’s practice squad, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Barber was released by Washington on Tuesday and then signed to their practice squad.
Barber, a five-year NFL veteran, spent his first four seasons with the Buccaneers before spending the 2020 season with the Redskins, where he rushed for 258 yards and four touchdowns on 94 carries.
Barber will join a Raiders backfield that already has Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake, but lacked depth beyond them.
